A commonplace book is a specific thing. Here, I use it in tags and labels to mark items that dont' fit neatly into some category of my blog or to mark items that fit into a certain theme of inquiry or that I want to remember later for lectures, presentations, etc. Essentially, it is a scrapbook of sorts but instead of based on chronology it is based on general themes. I used to have a blog on Tumblr but began losing track of things I was posting. I've started moving some of those items over here.
