Generally, no. I use multiple computer systems, file types, databases and various other tools that are supposed to make teaching easier. I very often have little choice or control over these systems and find them as frustrating as you do.

First, contact the IT support for the system you are having trouble with. If they tell you that I've made a mistake, let me know. I'll try to fix it. If not, there is usually nothing I can do to help.

If you are having trouble accessing library resources, contact the appropriate research librarian.

PDF Files: These are often created using the most recent version of Acrobat from Adobe. If you cannot open a PDF file, try updating your PDF reader software first. This usually solves the problem.
